The Funding Portal, governmentfunding.org.uk, went live on 29 September 2003. The website has been developed by the Directory of Social Change. DSC is a registered charity which provides a wide variety of information and training for the voluntary and community sector. In line with Recommendation 17 of HM Treasury's 2002 cross-cutting review, the site aims to provide 'a common point of access to Government grant funding for the VCS'.

Personalised user profile, where you can save previous searches, grant schemes, and online applications.
Email alerts about new and updated schemes that match the criteria you select.
News page containing links to important news articles from the sector press, and with searchable news archive.
Help & Advice section with general funding information, including an A-Z index of key terms and helpful links to other sites.
Searchable Directory of Users, where you can make your organisation's contact details and aims available to other users.
